| Scope of activities: |
Standardization in area of assessment methods for: fire danger and risk related to life and property; participation of design, materials, construction materials, products, parts, and fire safe buildings and constructions; decreasing fire danger and risk by identifying operating characteristics and behavior for the materials, products, building parts and constructions; behavior of construction products, parts and elements during fire; fire risk, in order to reach safety (fire safety) in buildings. Committee scope of activities involves standardization of products, construction parts and elements classifications, related to their application and fire risk, and terminology, quality specifications, functional requirements and requirements related to safety of life and property, so as environment protection. |
